Walnut Kitchen — Çayyolu
Complete island-plan cabinet system with solid walnut door profiles for a 52 m² villa kitchen.
About the project
This villa kitchen in Çayyolu was designed as both a meal-prep and social gathering space for the family. Choosing an island layout on 52 m² both expanded the prep area and created visual continuity with the dining room.
Cabinet doors were made from solid walnut, bodies from FSC-certified oak-veneered MDF. Interior organisation uses bamboo pull-out baskets, telescopic drawers and a carousel system for the corner. The worktop is Nero Marquina black marble, coordinated to match the backsplash.
Production took 4 weeks; installation 2 days. The detail the client loves most: when the doors are closed, the entire surface reads as a single flat walnut plane — no handles, no visible hinges.
