Turquoise Epoxy Walnut Table — Kavaklıdere

Made for a client in Kavaklıdere, this table was crafted from an 80-year-old walnut trunk slab that had belonged to the client's ancestors. The client wanted to bring the story of this tree into the table; we filled the natural cracks with turquoise epoxy — as if the wood was carrying healed scars.

Slab dimensions: 240×90 cm, average 6 cm thick. Entropy Resins Super Sap CLR was poured in 3–4 layers. The surface was sanded from 80 to 400 grit, then finished with Rubio Monocoat Pure — the epoxy doesn't shine in matte; the wood stays alive.

The legs are raw black steel; connection points to the slab were made with hidden keyhole bolts so the table can be disassembled and moved in the future.
